KGF Chapter 2 Movie Review: A Mass Movie for The Mass Audience: KGF has been the most awaited film in Hindi cinema for the last four years. Now the film has finally been released. Indian cinema should be very proud of the makers who had such an enormous vision for the KGF franchise. It is a mass film that is made for a mass audience that’s been made looking at the importance of PAN Indian Cinema. Today, I watched this movie and really had an amazing experience. In this article, I am going to review the movie. We will discuss the strong points of the movie, What could have been better, and cast performances.

KGF Chapter 2 Movie Review: Strong Points
1. Excellent Film Direction
Prashanth Neel is the first person who should be appraised. His direction in this movie is top-notch. Before making KGF, Prashanth made only one movie. KGF is the second project that he took and gained mass appreciation. Can you imagine, pulling off a film with a new cast within the Kannada industry that no one heard about before KGF’s success was never an easy thing? Creating a movie by a new director that PAN India liked a lot, really deserves appreciation.
- His direction style in KGF 2 was exceptional. Creating a sequel to any movie is never an easy task. And he did his job with immense perfection.
2. Yash Starring as Rocky
The performance that Yash has delivered in the movie already made him a superstar for the Indian audience. He made the character of Rocky a bone character in the movie. He is the throbbing heart in the movie. His screen presence is so amazing that he even rectifies other bad-acting scenes spotless. Having that kind of screen presence in the movie is a very rare quality.
3. Style & Visuals
Very less people give attention to this point but fashion style and visual style carry more importance in revealing the authenticity of the scenes. I observed KGF has different visuals elements like dust elements, fog elements, guns, and weapons, all are perfectly synced with the cinematic shots.
- If you look at Rocky’s suits, it is just WOW. The way he is carrying every suit in this movie is phenomenal. He is completely a style icon in my opinion.
- Similarly, every character has a unique personality and style despite having low screen time.
- Sanjay Dutt look is also giving another class to this movie. Though he is playing an antagonist in the movie yet he is appraised by the mass audience.
- The Colour tone of the movie is somewhere between brown and grey. And within this color palette, all of these characters stand out purely differently.

4. Philosophy Behind the Action
I don’t think it would be justified if I criticize the action involved in this movie. Action scenes in the movie are already entertaining. Since it is a movie for the mass audience, thus carries the massy elements. Hand-to-hand combat action scenes are also my favorite, especially the scene where Rocky brought his hammer. Action scenes editing is a masterclass in itself.
5. Top-Notch Dialogue Delivery
Dialogue is something that gives extra weightage to movies. For a movie that is made for a mass audience, Dialogues become a more critical element for the success of the movie. KGF Chapter 2 does the proper justification with the dialogue delivery. Film’s dialogues are massy and over the top and perfectly go with the scenes.
6. Background Music
The background movie for this movie is insane. It is loud and, on your face, and is something that you should definitely enjoy in theatres. BGM aptly suits the world of KGF.
Things That Could Have Been Better
I really liked the movie and don’t think this movie should be criticized at all. Since it is a PAN India Film & Mass Movies are made out of Indian mass sentiments. I just feel we should enjoy the movie the way it is trying to show us.
The only one thing where I think things could have been better was the Raveena Tandon’s acting. Though she is one of the strongest characters in the film her performance wasn’t justifying her character. Her acting was more similar to the Indian TV drama serials. She could have been given a much better performance than this.
